Meet Our Team

John is a Chief in the Coast Guard Reserve and the founder of Disabled Veterans Consultants. He is also a proud husband and father of three. During his time in the service, John says the ocean tried to kill him on five different occasions (which he takes very personally). When we asked John for a fun fact about himself, he responded with, “I was born a Chief; it just took the Coast Guard 15 years to realize it.” Being a leader is in his blood, and he’s extremely passionate about the work he does with Disabled Veterans Consultants — Serving disabled veterans all over the nation.

Enrique is originally from Milwaukee and was the first of his siblings to graduate college. He is the father of two beautiful children, Yaritza and Azeqiel. He says he moved to New Mexico to create a better life for his family. Not only is Enrique a lefty and a cheesehead (we still don’t know why he continues to cheer on the Packers), but he’s also Wolverine’s biggest fan! Enrique’s one of the hardest workers you’ll ever meet — The many veterans he has helped at Disabled Veterans Consultants can attest to it.

Shannon is a daughter of a Vietnam Veteran, which drives her to help as many Veterans as possible. She’s a hard worker and proud single mom of 4 very outgoing, athletic, and caring children — What can’t she do? When Shannon is not helping Veterans, she spends most of her time at either baseball, basketball, or soccer practice and games. She also likes to do lots of crafts when she needs to disconnect from the world. Shannon says she loves working for DVC because she gets to help Veterans that are out there, making sure we’re protected.

Antonio was born in Savannah, Georgia, while his father was serving in the U.S. Army. He is very proud to carry his father’s name, so everyone calls him “TJ,” short for Tony Jr. After TJ completed high school, he joined the U.S. Army, where he served 4 years as a 19D (Cavalry Scout). Once his father retired from the Army, he moved back to his hometown, Las Cruces, New Mexico, moving his children with him. TJ is a proud father to three beautiful children, Selena, Isaiah, and Jessie — He now also has one grandchild.
